I always prefer to frame commissioned paintings where possible as this ensures their safety.
I will ensure your portrait is framed and sealed properly to an excellent standard. Pastels are delicate so portraits are mounted using a 'floating' mount. This keeps your painting away from the glass and minimises the risk of pastel dust marks.
Portraits can be supplied unframed if preferred. Unframed portraits include mount.
Backgrounds
My usual style of portrait has a soft, graduated background; if you would like a specific background this can usually be accommodated at an extra charge to cover the extra work involved.
